This Maya script is like having a viewport camera assistant that’s always one step ahead of you. It automatically zooms in on whatever you select from the outliner. No more awkward panning and zooming around like a lost drone. It also momentarily isolates the selected object(transform) while focusing so you see whats behind. But you can flip on Fast Mode for a quick, no-bs focus that skips the fancy stuff. The script runs quietly in the background, stalking your selections (in a good way). Plus, there's a drag-and-drop installer and a simple UI with buttons and checkboxes, so you can easily toggle features or just disable it. It’s one of those neat things you wish Maya had natively (or maybe it’s just a useful bit of nonsense).
You can run below script directly in cmd prompt, or get the installer package from Artstation that has drag and drop installer which creates a nice little "AFS" icon on the active shelf.
