I’m a 3D character artist and TD, meaning I get to make characters move, breathe, and sometimes explode—more on that later. Before diving into 3D, I spent years as an Art Director in advertising agencies, then shifted to motion graphics and video post-production. Eventually, I ran my own company, teaming up with some great talents on challenging commercial projects. Over the years, I became a jack of all trades, and mastered a few—sculpting, rigging, animating—you name it.
Outside of art, I used to play ice hockey until my knees gave out, so now I put that energy into my work (and drink way too much coffee). I also have a tendency to sink 1,000+ hours into competitive multiplayer games when I get hooked (seven years is my record).
One day, I’d love to make a game—probably something dystopian, because I’ve got a thing for gritty, liminal, and slightly broken worlds (don’t ask). For now, I’m focused on crafting characters, stories around them and sharing the madness that is my creative process and my daily life.
I live with my lovely wife and our furry child—a malshi who thinks she runs the place (she does). These days, I’m embracing the long-bearded, degenerate millennial life, with too many projects and the belief that sleep is optional.
This blog is where I share my journey—character design, tech art, life, and everything in between.
